NAMES FOR THE 2012 SEATROUT SEASON

WILD FISHING WHEN YOU VISIT WALES

This is how it works.

You give your name and contact details, which goes onto a list.

When the conditions are favourable, water height / weather, with fish present in the private beats that i use on the Welsh Dee, the first on the list gets a call with possibly a day or so notice, 'Can you come tomorrow night?', 'No sorry, can't make it tomorrow', name goes to the bottom of the list and the next in line gets a call.... and so on, your name can quickly climb up the list again.

Update 17th July 2011

Whilst my personal tally on the Seatrout front is showing the best year so far, in and among many, with over 25 Seatrout to date from Welsh Rivers, Paul Robertson experienced his first outing, guided on the Upper Dee, in and among many tweaks an bumps under a full moon, he managed this one which gave a good account of itself. Well done Paul!

Update 15th July 2011

Well ! it did get better !!! total weight 16lb 10oz, now the rest of the season's Seatrout to my rod will be returned.

Update 15th June 2011

Can it get better than this ?

Update 12th June 2011

A great start to the 2011 season for me, a size 6 Dovey Black and Orange accounted for this 12lb beauty, it led me a merry dance for some 15 minutes, in and out of two pools before it was subdued.
