SHORT BREAK IN WALES - FROM LONDON

Charlotte and Dave had been before to ' Dolgadfa' on the River Dee in January and this time Charlotte waited until later in the year, mid June....to bring mum and dad along.... When the time arrived the weather had been kinder in January, there was a cold easterly wind and intermittent rain with a rising river.... this did not deter them and whilst the sport was somewhat slow they excelled themselves with Brown Trout and Grayling, here are some of them.

John and Sue fished hard...and were well rewarded....Sue also went for a swim 'tounge in cheek'and caught the biggest Grayling estimated at 2lb 8oz

This Brown Trout was estimated at 2lb 8oz and took a size 18 shuttlecock on the 'River Usk' in late April 2007. I took eight fish that day in the space of 4 hours fishing.
